Annotated case studies from real engagements. Each one covers the problem, the architecture I chose, the decisions and trade-offs that led to it, and the outcome. The aim is to show how the work was reasoned about, not just that it was done.

- Multi-region AWS platform for regulated iGaming – compliant architecture across European and US jurisdictions, using Outposts for data residency, VPC isolation for GDPR, and PCI-DSS payment infrastructure.
- Environment on Demand – Jenkins-orchestrated Terraform and Ansible giving developers self-service, build-and-destroy infrastructure with automated lifecycle management.
- Aurora fleet optimisation – tuning and right-sizing a large global Aurora MySQL fleet (60+ clusters) behind a four-nines availability target.
- AWS and Terraform modernisation with Claude Code – refreshing an existing estate: component upgrades, WordPress 6 to 7, Amazon Linux 2 to 2023, PHP 7 to 8.3.
- Multi-agent organisation with CrewAI – 30+ agents in Multipass supporting the Truett & Brass operation.
- EKS shared ALB ingress – consolidating multiple services onto a shared Application Load Balancer using the AWS Load Balancer Controller and IngressGroups, replacing an Istio ingress layer.
- OpenClaw – experimental agent platform, with a dedicated project planned.
- Workflow automation with n8n – self-hosted orchestration of data and operational workflows.
